Optical characteristics of new luminophores based on boron-fluoride complexes of substituted dipyrromethenes

The physical-chemical (spectral-luminescence and lasing) characteristics of newly synthesized compounds (difluoroborides of dipyrromethenes) have been obtained as functions of their chemical structure, solvents (liquid and frozen solutions, solid-state matrices), excitation wavelength and intensity,...

Description
Summary:The physical-chemical (spectral-luminescence and lasing) characteristics of newly synthesized compounds (difluoroborides of dipyrromethenes) have been obtained as functions of their chemical structure, solvents (liquid and frozen solutions, solid-state matrices), excitation wavelength and intensity, and temperature (77–295K) of the solution. On the basis of an analysis of the results, the possibilities of applying the new compounds to construct various optical devices are discussed.
