Computer Simulation in Developing the Technology of Welding High-Tensile Steel Sheets
Finite-element simulation for automatic argon-arc welding of high-tensile steel sheets is considered. The mathematical model used to calculate the temperature distribution, changes in phase composition, strains, and stresses is described. SYSWELD and PROWELD software packages are used. Summary: | Finite-element simulation for automatic argon-arc welding of high-tensile steel sheets is considered. The mathematical model used to calculate the temperature distribution, changes in phase composition, strains, and stresses is described. SYSWELD and PROWELD software packages are used. Based on the results obtained, rational boundary conditions are chosen and an assembly-and-welding fixture is designed. |
