Summary:	Foreign bodies placed into the ureter are uncommon. Unintentionally placed nonabsorbable sutures may cause obstruction and stone formation. If not recognized, the patient may become symptomatic. We present a diagnosis of a rare case from Turkey, in which a ureter stone was formed by a nonabsorbable suture in a male patient with a previous laparotomy.
