Description
Summary:The effect of the nature of the support and the method of preparation of indium–aluminum(zirconium) oxide compositions on their acid–base characteristics, which determine the catalytic activity in oxidative dehydrogenation of propane with participation of CO 2 , was established. The highest selectivity for propylene (51%) is achieved over the In 2 O 3 –Al 2 O 3 catalyst, which is due to the presence on its surface of stronger Lewis acid sites for activation of C 3 H 8 and to a higher concentration of base sites for activation of CO 2 .
