Description
Summary:A semiphenomenological model for the effective Hamiltonian of Quantum Chromodynamics on the light front in (3 + 1)-dimensional space-time is proposed and the spectral equation for the mass squared of quark-antiquark states is considered. Proposed Hamiltonian includes a term dependent on the zero mode of the gluon field, which is introduced as an independent dynamic variable. The inclusion of this term allows to obtain quark and antiquark confinement in transverse directions in the Light Front coordinates. We can obtain confinement also in the longitudinal coordinates taking into account the four-fermion term in the Hamiltonian.
