Summary: | The article presents the experimental study results of the polishing process of a thin-film diamond coating of parts with a metal brush. The polishing process effect on the roughness of the resulting surface is established. The process of polishing a diamond coating is carried out due to two factors: mechanical cleavage of the microroughness peaks and a chemical-thermal factor, in which graphitization of cleaved micro-vertices is carried out. |
