Summary:A new synthesis procedure is introduced for static H∞ loop shaping problem in discrete-time case. LMI conditions are derived to obtain a static output feedback controller that ensures the robust stability and performance of the closed-loop system. A numerical example illustrates the use of the proposed control method with application to a VTOL (“vertical take-off landing”) aircraft model.
