The Commissioners, with representation across gender and geography, have expertise in epidemiology, virology, ecology, One Health, human medicine, veterinary medicine, food systems management, anthropology, working with Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous knowledge systems, law, wildlife trade, health systems, economics, policy, and more.
