Description
Summary:The electrooptical properties in hyperbolic quantum wires are investigated, with most emphasis devoted to the influence of electron–hole interactions on the electrooptical properties. The analytic forms of the electrooptical effects of this system are derived by means of density matrix treatment. Finally, the numerical results are presented for a typical AlGaAs/GaAs hyperbolic quantum wire.
