The behavior of ultrashort pulses at interfaces with inhomogeneous or dispersive media

Fractionally linear and plasma semi-infinite media with the waveguide-type dispersion, as well as dispersive and nondispersive linear layers, are considered. The behavior of various ultrashort pulses scattered from interfaces with these media is analyzed. Certain specific features of propagation of...

Description
Summary:Fractionally linear and plasma semi-infinite media with the waveguide-type dispersion, as well as dispersive and nondispersive linear layers, are considered. The behavior of various ultrashort pulses scattered from interfaces with these media is analyzed. Certain specific features of propagation of various pulses in the aforementioned media are revealed. It is shown that the parameters of incident pulses can be matched with the parameters of the media under study.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
