Summary: | Al 5456alloyis one of the types in wrought aluminium/magnesium series which is excellent properties of corrosion and strength. An investigation of this study have been made to find ultimate tensile strength and hardness of Al 5456 alloy particulate with powder of SiC (3, 7 and 10 wt%) and flyash (2, 4 & 6 wt%) was fabricated by stir casting apparatus. The prepared samples were characterized and analysed by scanning electron microscope. The obtained result revealing that samples of 5456 alloy along with SiC as reinforcement had a uniform spreading of flyash and properties of hybrid composites were improved due to good mixture of both particulate particles. |
