Summary: | In this work, a simulation model is used to evaluate the effect of hybridisation of laminate composite plate by hollow glass cenosphere on the free vibration response. The problem is modelled using a commercially available finite element tool ANSYS to obtain the natural frequency. The simulation model validation and consistency verified with the available published literature. Subsequently, the model is extended to analyse the effect of the increasing percentage of cenosphere on the modal responses of the laminated composite plate. Further, the results are obtained for different geometrical parameters. |
