Description
Summary:Suitability of Radial solar convective sprinklers (RSCS) with forced evaporation of soak liquor from tannery waste has been studied here. A theoretical model representing steady and dynamic operations/behavior of jets from a single nozzle is developed using projectile theory and is validated. The modeling is extended to describe evaporation of treated water due to evaporation and wind drift from sprayed droplets. Operating cost, pressure drops are calculated for individual sprinkler nozzle. Experimental results obtained after implementing the network of spray nozzle system (20 nozzles are connected through interconnected pipes) are used for validation of the model. The results are interesting for commercialization.
