Summary: | A magnetoelectric (ME) laminate composite consisting of a new cut type [(zxtw)−129°∕30°] piezoelectric LiNbO3 single crystal and the magnetostrictive Tb1−xDyxFe2−y has been developed and its ME effect has been studied. Our small laminate shows a superior ME voltage coefficient (αE). A wide bandwidth of the frequency peak under a fixed magnetic bias field and a wide bandwidth of optimized magnetic bias field under a high fixed frequency were also observed. The largest value of αE is 2.31V∕cmOe at 160kHz when the magnetic bias field reaches 1.76kOe. |
