Summary:Irradiation of He-Ne LASER beam on polystyrene (PS) and poly vinyl chloride (PVC) polyblend sample for different time intervals viz . 3, 5,7, 10 and 15 min. Structural and electrical properties have been studied before and after irradiation. It has been found that irradiation increases the dc electrical conductivity due to creation of new charge carriers in the polyblend sample.
