Description
Summary:This review article considers the peculiarities of the lipid composition and its role in the nervous system during development. Each stage of brain development is characterized by intense synthesis of a specific group of lipids, which suggests the involvement of this class in the formation of cells and in the maintenance of specific functions. In addition to lipids, special attention is paid to changes in the composition and accumulation of their critical component, the fatty acids.
