Summary: | A study was conducted using 60 Ms & 60 Fs in the first through twelfth grades of a small midwestern school system. Ss completed semantic differential scales in which they evaluated "boys" & "girls." Results revealed that younger members of both sexes evaluated their own sexes more positively than did their older counterparts. Adolescent boys, but not girls, indicated more positive attributions for the opposite sex over their own. 1 Figure. M. Cain. |
