Description
Summary:The town of Zelenograd was created as the main research and production center of the Soviet microelectronics industry. The Zelenograd Microelectronics Centre provided a full cycle of work on creation of the world-class national microelectronic component base in the interests of defense and industry. A specialized synchrotron radiation (SR) source—the technical storage ring complex (TSRC) “Zelenograd,” whose project provides for the first time matching of the operations of analytical synchrotron stations with technological lines for specialized integrated circuits—is its core. TSRC “Zelenograd” is in a high degree of readiness for commissioning, which will make it possible to form in the shortest possible time a scientific, production, and educational complex on its basis for mastering serial production and training personnel in advanced fields of engineering and technology.
