Description
Summary:This article examines the regularities of the dynamics of the underground part of the ephemeral–wormwood semidesert of the Kura–Araks lowland under conditions of climate change. It was found that the ratio of productive and unproductive roots in plants remains at a certain level regardless of the phase of plant development and the season of the year under modern climatic conditions in different years. Data illustrating repeated experiments and observations are given in the tables and figures. It is concluded that a decrease in root mass with soil depth has a pronounced pattern in plant communities.
