Description
Summary:An isotope–hydrochemical study of the surface and groundwater was carried out in the basin of the Ala-Archa River located on the Northern slope of the Kyrgyz ridge, Kyrgyzstan. The results of studies of stable isotopes of δ 2 H and δ 18 O, the isotope composition of uranium and the physicochemical parameters were used to carry out the diagnostics of runoff components of the mountain river basin Ala-Archa and to determine river runoff components in the zone of development of modern glaciation. The contribution of buried ice to river flow was determined.
