SEM, EDX and AES analysis of embrittled CrNiMo steel
The paper presents the application of modern analytical techniques in metallurgy. The solution of interfacial segregation problems in CrNiMo steel is demonstrated. The low quenching temperature (1000 deg C) was the main cause of embrittlement.
