Summary:In a previous work we have studied gluon saturation effects in diffractive deep inelastic electron-ion scattering and, in particular, in the energy and nuclear dependence of the ratio σ d i f f / σ t o t and also in the behavior of the ratio R A 1 , A 2 d i f f ( Q 2 , β , x IP ) = F 2 , A 1 D ( 3 ) / F 2 , A 2 D ( 3 ) . In order to perform our analysis we had to make some assumptions concerning the nuclear dependence of the saturation scale. In the present contribution we change those assumptions and check whether our early conclusions still hold for a different dependence of the saturation scale on the atomic number.
