Summary: | Tc-99m tetrofosmin has been used widely as a cardiac imaging agent with favorable characteristics. Most protocols include imaging 15 to 30 min after intravenous injection of Tc-99m tetrofosmin. It is mainly excreted by the hepatobiliary system. Although cases with duodenogastric reflux have been reported with MIBI in the waiting period, no cases with tetrofosmin were found in the literature. The authors report a case with significant duodenogastric reflux of Tc-99m tetrofosmin that occurred during the acquisition period of exercise SPECT myocardial imaging. |
