Description
Summary:A definition of race using gene f 's which can be used to supplement the use of morphological characteristics. On the basis of gene f 's 13 races are proposed: Early European, The Lapps, Northwest Europeans, Eastern & Central Europeans, Mediterraneans, African race, Asian race, Indo-Dravidian, Amer Indian, Indonesian, Polynesian, & Australian (aboriginal) races. This classification does not differ in any startling way from those defined on the basis of morphological characteristics. However, 2 instances where the gene f method has been useful independent of the morphological characteristics method is in confirming the Indian origin of the Gypsies & the establishing of the Lapps as an independent group (& not part of the Mongoloids, as they were classified for a long time). 7 tables are given in explanation of the method.
