and it is compared with Dorcadion infernale Mulsant & Rey, 1863; and Dorcadion (C.) eustriolatum
sp. n. which is closely related to Dorcadion holosericeum Krynicki, 1832 and to Dorcadion striolatum Kraatz, 1873. Distinguishing morphological characters are discussed and supplied with figures of the type specimens.
