Summary:We experimentally demonstrate two types of stable dual-wavelength EDF fiber ring lasers assisted with four-wave mixing of dispersion-shifted fibers to suppress the homogeneous broadening of EDF. Moreover, by using a Sagnac loop interferometer without circulator, the proposed fiber laser is cost-effective and has switchable resonance wavelength.
