Description
Summary:This paper aims at discussing the need to formulate a bridge between a theory of language (Critical Discourse Analysis, for example) and research on {coteaching|cogenerative dialogue} as a means to not only understand participants identity transformation but also the power relations fostered in {coteaching|cogenerative dialogue} contexts. It is grounded in a socio-historical-cultural perspective of learning and critical discourse analysis. The results of such alignment, in this paper, are presented as a proposal for investigating the ways of exercising control in the ways of acting and interacting in {coteaching|cogenerative dialogues} or other collaborative and democratic environments. Key-Words: critical discourse analysis, interaction, power, socio-historical-cultural perspective.
