Description
Summary:Economists of all stripes, especially adherents of the market-liberal direction, once again face the question of what kind of economy there is as a result of ten years of economic reforms and what kind of economy is being built. One of the key tasks today is to try to understand why the positive results of the institutional reforms that have been carried out in the corporate sector are so minimal; why Russian pseudo-corporations have remained closed, who really controls them, and for what purposes; what the basic informal principles are for the functioning of these pseudo-corporations. The goal of this paper is to trace the origins of the formation and to sytematize the traits of the specific contemporary mechanism for the functioning of the corporate sector. An understanding of the contemporary realities for an overwhelming majority of companies is also an understanding of the prospects for the development not only of the corporate sector of the economy but also of Russian society as a whole.
