Summary: | It’s obligatory to take up the Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology, where health is a major concern. For the clinical adoption of voice-mail or electronic mail services in health sectors, there is significant investment in communication technologies. It’s possible to achieve safe and reliable communication through VLC among physicians and clinicians. The Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are capable of transmitting data using visible light. The usage of LEDs and data transmission using light as medium restricts the impact of electromagnetic radiation indoors, especially in hospitals. Not surprisingly the benefits of the LEDs make it to be adopted in hospitals and in other indoor environments like homes, hotels, conference halls, and offices. Visual comfortness with appropriate optics can be provided through dimmed LED luminaries to the indoor users. The Enhanced Reverse Polarity Optical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (ERPO-OFDM) technique provides dimming and data transmission concurrently. The indoor ambiance and information transmission under the avoidance of radiation effects can be accomplished with the implemented technique. |
