Description
Summary:Through its Public & Governmental Affairs (P&GA) Committee, TMS advocates for broad-based materials-related research and development, supports science, technology, engineering, and math programs, and promotes the materials science and engineering profession. The P&GA Committee offers members the opportunity to educate themselves on public policy issues relevant to their careers and to provide their expert advice to legislators, policymakers, and the public. TMS welcomes the opportunity to work cohesively and purposefully with other organizations and professional societies to accomplish universal goals that support our mission to promote minerals, metals, and materials science and technology.
