Summary: | A new method for optimum design for a two lenses optical telescopic system, using radial shear interferometer based collimation testing and Zernike polynomial is reported. This technique reports for a particular separation between two lenses, what are minimum aberrations?, with respect to a perfect collimated beam. The positions of unit and nodal planes using the same radial shearing interferometer for equal and un-equal focal lengths of two lenses are also measured. |
