Summary:The propagation of electromagnetic pulses in a binary scintillation medium is simulated. The evolution of electromagnetic excitations formed by elementary particles passing through the scintillation medium is studied. The space-time dependence of light-pulse profiles and the time dependence of the light-medium energy balance and the signal formation length were obtained.
