Summary:	We investigated the main methods using photographic scales and non invasive objective measurement in cosmetic dermatology. At this time, photographs are used for comparable and subjective evaluation. The kappa value based on intra and inter-observers scales increase the high level of accordance. Objective measurement with different systems improve reproducibility and credibility of studies.
