Description
Summary:The magnetic properties of amorphous metal alloys based on iron, silicon, and boron, with additions of other elements, are investigated at liquid-nitrogen temperatures. The magnetization and saturation magnetic field (magnetic hardness) of the alloy depend on the element added (carbon, phosphorus, or nickel). The maximum saturation magnetization is observed for the alloy with carbon, and the maximum saturation magnetic field for the alloy with phosphorus.
