IX. Dying, self-determination, and the (im)possibilities of a “good death”
Self-determination as it concerns dying is examined from a feminist perspective. Approximately 4,000 people opted for euthanasia in 2012, and it is important to recognize and respect the capability women have of making choices about their own bodies as it relates to the right to die.
