Summary:	Oreocharis repenticaulis, a new species of Gesneriaceae from Guangxi, China, is described and illustrated. It is the first described Oreocharis with repent stem. A detailed description, color photographs, distribution and habitat, as well as its morphological relationship with relevant similar species are also provided.
