A linear regression analysis (α = 0.05) has been carried out in order to determine whether population age had any influence on motorization in Europe. Description
Summary:A linear regression analysis (α = 0.05) has been carried out in order to determine whether population age had any influence on motorization in Europe. Analysis results indicate that age has got a direct and positive, yet moderate effect on motorization (Multiple R = 0.0445). As age can explain up to one fifth of motorization (R2 = 0.20), the Findings and Discussions section tries to present the particular types of impact that age can have, as well as to shortlist some of the potential variables that might account for the rest of 80%. Another goal of the research was to find out what generation was most likely to influence motorization. Findingds reveal that early Millennials and late Gen X-ers can be accountable for most of the current motorization in Europe.
