Summary:We measured PVT data for methyl caprylate, a biofuel component, in one- and two-phase liquid and vapor phases. The measurements were carried out along 15 isochores in the temperature range from 20 to 164°С, pressure from 2 to 127 984 Torr, and densities from 44.7 to 832 kg/m 3 . The phase transition parameters are obtained by the kink in the isochore curves. The experimental values are described using equations of the Antoine and Wagner types.
