Summary: | In this research article a modified h-index (hmo) was proposed. This index adopts the calculation method of the original h-index, but takes into consideration all citations of the papers that have not been included in the calculation of the Hirsch Index; specifically neglected citations in the h-core. Thought that the productivity of a scientist is still effective in the modified h-index, the weight of the neglected citations–which reflects the quality of that scientist is added according to the proposed index. The current index slowly increases with the addition of any new citations in the h-core or the h-tail. |
