Description
Summary:A stereogenic twisted cycloparaphenylene that glows with helical green light in a polymer matrix is depicted in the cover image. The helical array of cycloparaphenylene in the molecular structure provides remarkable circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) in the solid state. In particular, bright and remarkable CPL was observed in the polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) film. This shining molecule dispersed in PMMA is like a lone but striking luminescent creature in a vast ocean. More information can be found in the Full Paper by M. Hasegawa, Y. Imai, Y. Mazaki, et al. on page 1323.
