Summary:Education is one of the most important elements of the country that form the basis of any progress in the positive sense. The accreditation, which plays an important role in improving the quality of education; A system should be implemented, especially in education and training institutions. Accreditation; It means the state of being equal.National Medical Education Accreditation Committee (UTEAK) has founded in 2008 goals and objectives development of medical education in the faculty of medicine and the improvement of quality in order to increase the level of public health, guidance to institutions, support the development, defined as monitoring the functioning and continuity. The evaluation tool in meeting the target and these goals was named accreditation process. The most important tool is stated that national standards for accreditation. Currently, 22 medical schools in our country areinaccreditedstatus.
