Summary:The analysis of the short-circuit current and open-circuit voltage performed for solar arrays of satellites operating in medium earth orbit reflects the essential exceeding the short-circuit current degradation rate over the open-circuit voltage degradation rate. The study demonstrated also that there is another factor of non-radiation degradation resulted in additional degradation of the solar array short-circuit current.
