Comparison of Allergic Peripheral Lung and Airway Tissue Inflammation

Tissue was cut into 2mm3 explants and stimulated either with anti-IgE, LPS or buffer control for 24 hours at 37°C. Tissue was harvested, weighed and supernatants aliquoted and stored at -80°C. Supernatants were analysed for TNFα and IL-10 using ELISA.
