Summary: | This paper proposes a new approach to numerical simulations of stochastic biochemical oxygen demand equations. The analysis of biochemical oxygen demand is necessary in evaluating the effects of water pollution. Here, we consider radial basis functions. This approximation process can also be interpreted as a simple kind of neural network. An illustrative example is included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the approach. The numerical experiments show that the method performs well. |
