Summary: | In this paper, we present a short literature review on the studies and researches, especially recently, in the area of modeling of the trajectory-generating equipments of the five-axis CNC machines and modeling of the trajectory-generating mechanisms of the serial industrial robots. First we make a short introduction regarding the importance and the opportunity of using modeling and simulation techniques in the actual context, and then we present very briefly some studies developed in these areas and the software packages used in these researches. We paid particular attention to the ADAMS software because it is considered one of the most widely used software for the simulation of the mechanical systems' motion. After this short literature review, the future work will consist in modeling in ADAMS of a five-axis CNC machine and of a serial industrial robot, and then in analysis and optimization of their motions. |
