Description
Summary:Coordination of different relays in transmission systems is an important issue in relays application. In this paper, the over-current and distance relays are coordinated through the Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (ICA) considering time setting multiplier (TSM) and pickup current of the relays. The proposed method is investigated on a 6-bus network. It is shown that ICA has better results in comparison with Genetic Algorithm (GA).
