Description
Summary:This paper discusses the juxtapositions between strategy as a practice and strategy process, aiming to link the two types of approaches to strategy. Methodologically, the paper sought to build a line to the theoretical concepts of the strategy process and strategy as a practice, then associate the concepts covered by the identification of inter-theoretical relationships between them, and make a proposition for integrating these concepts in making a strategy. It could be observed that the feeding practices and processes will continually shape and restructure processes in making strategies, carried over the strategic choices made by individuals who are influenced by the practices that are socially constructed and culturally accepted. The strategy is evident when actors and practices, structure, context and operations complement social practices, knowledge and language, allowing strategists to go beyond the practice to broader processes of environmental complexities that organizations routinely deal with.
