Identification of novel SEC61G-EGFR fusions in pediatric ependymoma

An abstract of a study by Servidei et al assessing identification of novel SEC61G-EGFR fusions in pediatric ependymoma is presented. Compared to EPR EPP-MI cells displayed impaired proliferation in vitro, but much higher tumorigenicity, despite a lower expression of sternness markers.
