Summary:There is a lower incidence of suicide in the Philippines compared with other countries, but the trend has been increasing. Identifying and addressing factors associated with suicide and suicide attempts in children and adolescents should lead to the implementation of programs to help prevent this growing trend. This study aims to identify the correlates of suicidal ideation and attempts in Filipino youth using the 2015 Global School-Based Health Survey.
