Description
Summary:— Using differential scanning calorimetry, we have examined the effect of isotopic composition on the temperature and kinetics of the α → γ phase transition of isotopically natural ( nat Fe), 56 Fe-enriched, and 57 Fe-enriched Fe samples and assessed kinetic phase transition parameters as functions of isotopic disorder parameter. A time–temperature–transition diagram is presented for the fraction of the γ-phase resulting from the α → γ phase transition.
